The lecture introduces a new research project that will investigate how the philosophical concepts of negation, emptiness and the void may potentially resonate globally within a modernist aesthetic framework. It will attempt to use data-driven algorithms (‘Distant Reading’) to approach these complex sentiment-based questions.
