In this talk we investigate the striated regularity for some patch-type problems in fluid mechanics,
and we explore how this striated regularity can be used to establish the Lipschitz continuity of the velocity vector
field. We first revisit the vortex-patch problem for two-dimensional ideal fluids. Subsequently, we consider the density-
patch problems, in particular focusing on cases with jumping viscosity coefficient. Our analysis centers on the study
of elliptic equations provided with striated regularity either in the source term or in the variable coefficients.
