Leading up to the nationwide Digitaltag on June 07th, HeFDI invites you to join them for the HeFDI Data Week 2024. This online event is aimed at researchers, educators, students, and anyone interested in learning more about FAIR Data and Code and the challenges coming along with that. Over the course of the week, the event will be covering various themes related to research data. Each day offers two different thematical or disciplinary tracks with 4 talks each. You can find further up-to-date information on the respective talks belonging to each track on the event website linked below.
Track 1.1 - Introduction to Research Data Management (RDM):
Good research practice in the digital age also includes a committment to efficient and sustainable handling of research data. Measures to achieve this are commonly subsumed under the term "research data management" (RDM). This track offers an introduction to most common fields of action in RDM and provides specific examples of what researcher can do to implement suitable workflows.
Track 1.2: Research Software and Data with Jupyter and GitLab (Track 1.2):
To perform high quality research with proper research data management in mind, modern high quality tools are mandatory. Thus, we want to present you Jupyter and GitLab as two major tools enabling easy access to research software and data management. Both topics will be covered by introductory talks followed by hands-on sessions.
